  • For battery-powered models, close the battery doors. The hearing aids will automatically enter pairing mode for 3 minutes.

Enable Bluetooth on your device: Open the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone or compatible device and turn Bluetooth on.

Search for Devices: Wait for your Widex hearing aids to appear on the list of available devices. They will usually be listed as the model name (e.g., "Widex Moment").

Pair the Hearing Aids: Select the hearing aids from the list, and your device will pair with them.

How to connect Widex hearing aids to TV?

Activate pairing mode

  • Refer to the device’s user manual for instructions on how to activate pairing mode.

How to connect Widex hearing aids to Widex SoundAssist?

1. Charge and Power On Sound Assist

  • Charge Sound Assist fully according to the instructions in the user manual.
  • Power on Sound Assist (usually by pressing and holding its power button).

2. Prepare Your Hearing Aids

  • Open and close the battery door (for battery-powered aids) or power them off and on (for rechargeable aids) to put them into pairing/search mode.
  • Keep your hearing aids close to Sound Assist—within a few inches—during pairing.

3. Activate Pairing Mode on Sound Assist

  • Press and hold the pairing or connect button on Sound Assist (check your manual for the correct button and duration).
  • A light or audio cue should confirm that Sound Assist is now searching for hearing aids.

4. Confirm Connection

  • Wait for a beep or notification in your hearing aids indicating they’ve connected.
  • Sound Assist may also have a light or indicator showing that the connection is successful.

5. Test the Connection

  • Play audio (e.g., music on your phone connected to Sound Assist) or make a phone call.
  • Confirm the sound is streaming through your Widex hearing aids.
  • Adjust volume or settings as needed, either on the Sound Assist or via any connected app (if applicable).
