Connecting Signia hearing aids to TV

How to connect Signia hearing aids to TV

Some hearing aids can connect to a TV directly via Bluetooth so you can connect to the TV's sound system and send the audio to the hearing aids. See Bluetooth connection instructions above.

For some TVs, you may need an additional device called a streamer, which Signia often refers to as a "TV transmitter" or "TV connector."

Here's how to set it up:

  1. Connect the streamer to your TV

Locate the audio output on your TV—this could be an optical, coaxial, or analog (RCA) output.

Connect the appropriate cable from the TV's output to the streamer.

  2. Power the streamer

Plug the streamer into a power source using the provided adapter.

  3. Pair the streamer with your hearing aids

Turn on your hearing aids and put them close to the streamer.

Depending on the model, you may need to activate pairing mode on the streamer by pressing a pairing button.

Refer to the streamer's manual for specific instructions.

  4. Select the correct TV audio output

On your TV settings, ensure the correct audio output is selected, matching the port used to connect to the streamer.

  5. Test the connection

Play something on the TV to check if the sound is transmitting to your hearing aids. Adjust the volume as necessary.
